About Market Monster

What is Market Monster?

Market Monster is inventory and profit software for online and retail arbitrage resellers who sell on Amazon, Walmart and eBay. It keeps inventory by location and works out true profit per item after marketplace fees, shipping and storage. It is in early access: accounts, teams and roles work today, and the reseller features are being built.

Who is Market Monster for?

Market Monster is for online and retail arbitrage resellers: people who buy products below market price in stores or online and resell them on Amazon, Walmart or eBay. It fits a part-time seller with one storefront and a full-time business with staff and several stock locations.

Is Market Monster available now?

Market Monster is in early access. You can create an account, invite your team and assign roles today. Inventory, profit tracking, sourcing and marketplace orders are in development and are labeled that way on this site. Email support@marketmonster.io to join early access.

Does Market Monster connect to Amazon, Walmart and eBay?

Not yet. Marketplace connections for Amazon, Walmart and eBay are in development, and none is live today. Each connection will be listed on the features page when it works in production, so this site never claims an integration you cannot use.

How does Market Monster calculate true profit?

True profit is sale price minus every cost the item carried: purchase price and sales tax, inbound shipping, prep, marketplace referral and fulfillment fees, storage, and returns. Market Monster is being built to track each of those per unit, so a sale that loses money after fees shows as a loss.

Pricing and trials

How much does Market Monster cost?

Market Monster has three planned plans: Standard at $29 per month, Pro at $99 per month and Enterprise at $299 per month. Every new account starts with a 14-day Pro trial. Prices are not final until launch.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new Market Monster account starts with a 14-day trial of the Pro plan, and no credit card is required to start. Enterprise evaluations run for 30 days. You choose a plan when the trial ends.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. Signing up for Market Monster does not ask for payment details. Your account starts on a 14-day Pro trial, and you only add payment information if you decide to keep a paid plan after the trial ends.

Security and access

Who can see my business data in Market Monster?

Only people you invite. Each business gets its own Market Monster workspace, and a person can sign in to it only after accepting an email invitation. Inside the workspace every member has a role, and roles grant specific permissions, so a contractor sees what they need and nothing more.

Does Market Monster support two-factor authentication?

Yes. Market Monster supports two-factor authentication with an authenticator app or a passkey, and it does not use SMS codes. Owners and admins of a workspace must turn on two-factor or add a passkey before they invite people, change roles or change workspace settings.

How does Market Monster protect passwords?

Market Monster never stores your password, only a salted scrypt hash of it. New passwords are checked against the Have I Been Pwned list of breached passwords, sign-in attempts are rate limited, and an account locks for 15 minutes after 5 failed sign-ins.

Early access is by email. Write to support@marketmonster.io and tell us how you sell.
